Christmas Show 2017 🎄

Dear Parents,
As we finalize our preparations for our upcoming Christmas Show on Dec 9, 2017, please read the important information below for the show!

 

ATTENDANCE:
Friday, Dec 1 is the Mala Proba rehearsal.
Friday, Dec 8 is the Velika Proba rehearsal.
Your child’s attendance is mandatory on both dates to participate in the show, as per the attendance policy.

 

TICKETS: 
The last day to purchase tickets at regular price ($30) will be this Friday, Dec 1, 2017. 
Hrvatska Skola students, KS members, and children ages 12 and under are free.
If any tickets are available after Dec 1, they will be $35 per ticket , no seating requests will be taken , and seating will be based on availability.

 

SONG LYRICS and AUDIO:
The Christmas Show song lyrics and audio files have been posted for each grade.

NOŠNJA – Pickup and Return :
 – Nošnja will be distributed on  Friday, Dec 1 and Friday, Dec 8 (night before the show).
 – Please do not forget to bring a bag with your child’s name on it for the nošnja. 
 – Please gently WASH and IRON the nošnja clothing items as needed.
 – All Nošnja items must be returned immediately after the show on Saturday, Dec 9. An announcement will be made at the show about where to return them.

 

NOŠNJA – How to Dress :
Parents: 
Please visit the links below to see which items you will need to provide to complete your child’s outfit.  For each grade, there are examples showing how to dress your child in their nošnja outfits:

 

RAFFLE:

PARKING: 
On the night of the Show, parking WILL be available in the parking lot behind the church on 40th Street..
Be sure to place your Croatian Church “Do Not Summons” paper on your dashboard *with name & cell phone number* regardless of where you park.

ARRIVAL and SHOW TIME:  
Please arrive with your child already dressed in their nošnja outfit by 6:15 PM in the Velika Dvorana.  The show will begin at 7:00 PM sharp.

 

PIZZA: 
Pizza will be served to all students once the show is over and after their nošnja items are returned.

 

SEATING: 
As each grade performs, we will call up parents from that particular grade to come up front and sit in the first few rows (please be aware we have limited seating and we are recommending only 1-2 people to come up front per student performing). There will be a parent monitoring this area and we politely ask for everyone to be considerate and make space for the next set of parents.

 

PHOTOS & VIDEOS: 
George Ćorluka will be taking professional photos during the show.
We will also be videotaping the show and will post it on our website.
