Dear Parents,
A couple of reminders and updates:
1) We will continue to sell Christmas show tickets this week. If you have not purchased them please do so.
2) Nosnja Closet Volunteers needed – as you already know, the Centar is closed for renovations. With that being said we need to move all the items in the current nosnja closet into a new one behind the stage in the Velika Dvorana. We will begin this process this Friday. Please meet by the stage at 7pm so we can coordinate. The more volunteers we have the quicker the process! The point of contacts are Renata Pestic and Angie Pasa.
3) Sveti Nikola is on Sunday, 12/6 after Sunday mass. We will be selling žito and will also have bagels and juice for the children. We hope to see you there!!!
4) Santa Clause – rumor has it that Santa will be in attendance for the Christmas Show. We are still looking for a volunteer!!! Please reach out to Angie Pasa if interested.
5) Raffle prizes for the Christmas Show – if you have anything you wish to donate to raffle at the Christmas Show please contact Diana Dobra.

We wanted to take a moment to send you some reminders/updates/announcements:
1. Please remember that the Kardinal Stepinac Kolo Group begin their practice at 9pm in the Velika Dvorana. Please be courteous during their practice and refrain from causing disruptions (talking loudly, children running, etc.)
2. Coloring Contest reminder – Attached is a picture of Kralj Tomislav/King Tomislav – please return by this Friday, November 13th. We will forward all pictures to the Hrvatska Turisticka naklada in Zagreb. They will choose winners. All submissions will be sent together and hopefully we have at least one winner. All ages are welcome. Be sure to put your Child’s Name and Age on the photo. A box with “Coloring Contest” will be at the snack table.
3. Teen Room – many of our older students have been a bit distressed with the lack of social hour. A solution we as a board have come to was to make a “Teen Room”. The “Teen Room” is located in the Mala Dvorana basement. Only students in grades 6-8 are permitted. The reason is a lack of structured adult supervision. We will be outfitting the area with activities for the pre-teens/teens. We are open to all suggestions.
4. Updated Classroom and teacher assignment- attached is the latest classroom and teacher assignment sheet. Please take a moment to review it. Please also remind your children to stay in their respective classroom until an adult dismisses them. In the older classes, there has been situations where a teacher runs late for the class and the students leave. We ALWAYS have a substitute and alternative plan if a teacher is absent so please emphasize that with your children. If you see students roaming please ask them to return to their classroom. Thank you!!
5. CHRISTMAS SHOW – details

> Ticket Sales for the Christmas Show
– On sale starting Friday, November 13th to Friday, December 4th
– Price per ticket
· Adult (13 and over) $25; 12 and under free
· Students of Hrvatska Skola and Kardinal Stepinac are free
– Price of ticket includes meat/cheese, burek and cookie platters for each table
– Table assignments are only available once tickets are paid for. First come, first serve basis!
– 4 person ticket allocation per family (includes parents); a waitlist for additional tickets will be available

The Kardinal Stepinac Kolo Group would like to cordially invite all skola parents and students to their Jesenski banket. The children of Hrvatska Skola are the future of the Kardinal Stepinac Kolo Group and by supporting the KS Kolo Group we support our future. The banquet is an evening of entertainment with dinner, raffles, music and dancing. Tickets will be sold this Friday at Skola.
The date is Saturday November 14th at 7pm… ticket prices are as follows:
