Please join us at Croatian Heritage Day with the New York Cosmos on Sunday, May 22. We will be holding a soccer festival for children before the game, 12 years old and under, from 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm, which will be hosted by former Croatian international player, Aljosa Asanovic!
Register now!! The first 60 children registered will receive a goodie bag and get to go on the field at pregame or halftime. For more information and to register your child email ckolega@rosiniengineering.com. Remember to put your child’s name and age in the email.
There will also be a barbeque at the event prior to the game donated by the Croatian American Charitable Foundation and a Kolo performance at halftime.

1) Mothers Day Ticket Sales:
Please note that the last day to purchase tickets for the Mother’s Day show is this Friday, April 29, 2016.
Please let us know if you are not attending or if you have an issue with purchasing tickets this Friday.
2) Nošnja Collection:
This year we are instituting a new policy for nosnja collection after the show. Two parents from every class will help collect nosnja after the show for their grade.
We are asking 2 parents from each grade to volunteer. If we do not get two volunteers, a lottery will be held within the class on Velika Proba to chose the two parents and you will be notified that your name was chosen.
Once the parent volunteers are set, Renata will be contact with you directly.
3) Raffles:
We are still looking for raffles, please contact Diana Dobra.

The Croatian School Board
Dear Parents,
As you know, we sent an email in March regarding Board positions.
Hrvatska škola is a volunteer organization and without parents willing to help in its organization and weekly activities it could not function. Parent volunteers, be it on the board or as coordinators of specials, is what makes Hrvatska škola a successful, functioning organization. We are looking for parents to volunteer for various openings on the board for the near future. We are also looking for volunteers for non-board positions.
If you are interested or may know of someone interested please let me know and Fra. Zeljko will speak with you/them to discuss the position. Please consider volunteering your time and effort in continuing to make Hrvatska škola successful.
If these postions, go unfullfilled, it will negatively affect the operations, of Hrvatska škola Please consider volunteering!!!!
