Board Positions/Attendance/Mothers Day Show Lyrics

A few updates for this week:

1) ATTENDANCE:

This is a friendly reminder that your child(ren) are required to attend 6 classes, not including Velika Proba, in order to be able to perform at the Mother’s Day Show. If you are uncertain of your child’s current attendance please let us know.

2) BOARD POSITIONS:

We are looking for parents to volunteer for various openings on the board. We also have non board positions open as well.

Attached are descriptions of the board and non-board positions available. If you are interested or may know of someone interested please let Renata Pestic and/or Fra. Drazan know.
Fra. Drazan and Renata will speak with you/them to discuss the position. Please consider volunteering your time and effort in continuing to make Hrvatska Skola possible.

Updates – Mar 11

Here are some upcoming events and updates we have:

1. Website has been updated to include all language documents. A link was added to the Students page (under the 3rd-6th grade section). https://hrskolanyc.org/weekly-handouts-spring-2016/

2. Easter Baskets – the 1st and 2nd grade classes will be making our Annual Easter Baskets on Friday, March 18th. We donate the baskets to the church Krunica society and they sell them during their Bake Sale on Palm Sunday. Please support the Krunica society all their proceeds go to charity.

3. 6th, 7th and 8th graders are holding a Bake Sale tonight to raise funds for their Teen Room. The Teen Room is located under the Mala Dvorana. Please support them.

4. We have two special events, attached you will find the flyers:

a. Rocking Horse Ranch Resort in Highland, NY from Friday, April 1st to Sunday, April 3rd. Reservations must be made by TODAY, Friday, March 11th.

b. Game: New York Red Bulls vs. Montreal Impact
